It seems that Eurovision is not in the good books with Deadpool. Just days before Deadpool 2 comes out in cinemas, the foul-mouth anti-hero is angry over Eurovision song contest’s Canada ‘snub’. Deadpool a.k.a. Ryan Reynolds is not happy.
The foul-mouth anti-hero is angry because Canada, Ray Reynolds’ home country, has not been invited to compete in the Eurovision annual music contest, even though Australia has.
In a hilarious promo video for Deadpool 2, Ray Reynolds expresses his disbelief over his country being ‘snubbed’ by that ” singsong competition” despite Canada’s rich music history.
“We’ve been snubbed by that European singsong competition you guys lose your shit over,” said Deadpool in a video shared by Reynolds on social media.
He explains that his country is “steeped in rich musical history” which include the likes of Adman, Bieber, Young, Bublé, Shatner. Continuing to say, and nobody would disagree with him, that “our generous gift of Celine Dion” alone should have earned Canada an invite.
He concludes with…
“Don’t give me that crap about Canada not being part of the European family. You let in Australia and they’re barely on the planet.”
