Keeping Your New Year’s Resolutions

Year after year, we all make a list of resolutions for the new year. Let’s be honest most of us don’t keep those resolutions. From promising to save money, start cooking, eat healthier and last get fitter.

Let’s stick to your word in 2016, at least with your fitness goals. The following tips should get you motivated into working out in 2016.

Start with achievable goals

Lowered your expectations a little. Do not jump into a crazy and intense program that you’ll quit within a couple of weeks. Slowly turn up the volume, the more you see yourself succeed the more you want to do better and only then step up your exercise routine.

Be consistent

Exercise and train but allow time for rest too.  There are three important aspects to fitness; rest for recovery, proper diet for balancing intake and output and hydration for detoxing. Rest, hydration and a proper diet are three of the best fat burners for your body. They ensure recovery and help you detox.

Find time for exercise

At the very least, do a 20 minute workout 4 days a week. Your body will not need much.  We need to get your metabolism cranking. Once outside and moving you’ll suddenly feel good and begin exercising with ease. Start with a walk and see where it takes you.

Get outside

Make time to go for a walk outside, you need to get outside. Breath the fresh air and move around. You won’t regret it and you’ll be a happier you.

Have Fun

Working out shouldn’t be work unless you’re training for the Olympics. Try to have fun. There are so many different training programs. Choose something you will have fun with and will keep you fit too. Exercise should be fun and something you look forward to because it makes you feel good and results in a better you all over.

Start your new year with  a simple exercise plan that you can keep to which will make you feel and look good.
