10 Things You Should Try in the Love Month

This February, make your trip a one to remember. Whether you are looking for Valentine’s Day getaway or an escape with your partner, family, or friends, this month offers many opportunities to explore the world. We’ll look at 10 things you should try in the love month.

If you’re travelling near the Chinese New Year, you might want to know that it falls on February 8. One of the most celebrated holidays in China is when people get together with friends and family to celebrate happiness and prosperity. If you’re planning a trip around the holiday itself, contact your transportation carriers ahead of time because things will be busier than usual.

A perfect way to break up the cold winter months is with some early Spring-like weather! And where better than Hawaii? Hawaiians are gearing up for their annual Merrie Monarch Festival, one of the largest hula gatherings in Hawaii. Locals and visitors will gather from March 27 to April 2 at the Edith Kanaka’oleStadium in Hilo to compete for the “Hula Grand” awards.

Barcelona, Spain, will be celebrating its annual Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in late February. This celebration is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture and traditions through food festivals and parades.

We all know that February is the shortest month of the year, but it’s also the month of love so spend it with your loved ones. This means you can go on a date, have lunch with your partner, or spend quality time with your friends and family during your vacation.

Here are some interesting activities you can do while you’re having a vacation in February:

1. Enjoy the Company of Other People

Who says that the month of love is just for couples? The beginning of February can be considered as Valentine’s week so spend it with your loved ones. It doesn’t have to be someone you’re in a relationship with, but rather spend this time with people who make you happy and give you joy, such as family or friends.

2. Capture Grea Memories through Photographs

Valentine’s Day may only come once a year but ensuring that you get good pictures here and there means that you can remember the love and affection you have for your significant other.

If you want to try something different besides the selfies and the mini shoots you and your partner make, why not hire a photographer? You can think of a theme and have an actual shoot. To make it more creative and worth remembering, hire a professional photographer to take your conceptual portraits, which you can display when you get back home.

3. Partner Up

You may be used to travelling solo or with friends, but why not go on a vacation with your partner? Travelling together allows couples to learn more about each other, making them closer. It also opens up opportunities for going on more trips in the future- win-win!

4. The Love Boat

Is there anything more romantic than a cruise? Book now to get the best deals. Opt for an all-inclusive meal plan, drinks included; it’s the perfect opportunity to eat and drink as much as you want without worrying about how much your bill is going to cost at the end of the night.

5. Have a Sweet Staycation

You can rent in a bed and breakfast, or stay at a luxury Airbnb and spend a day cooking. This is the perfect idea if you’re both picky eaters and want to try new food without worrying about whether you’ll like it. You’ll also be able to have a lovely retreat within the rental, so you won’t have to go out of the way to have a romantic date.

6. Make Someone’s Day

The best way for couples to bond is by doing things together, such as cooking or going on a hike. Why not do something different and go volunteer somewhere instead? The satisfaction of giving back will allow you both to see life from a different perspective and make for a good conversation when you get back home. You can also have this done with non-romantic companions; just do it for the sake of giving back.

7. Hit Up a New Cuisine

Head on over to a restaurant and try different cuisine because not only will you both enjoy trying something new, but it’s also always nice to experience something you’ve never done before together. It will truly make for a memorable holiday together if you’re able to try something new and create memories doing it!

8. Have a Picnic by the Sea

If you don’t have anyone to spend February with, this is a good activity too! There is nothing more romantic than having a candlelight picnic beside the ocean while looking up at the stars in the night sky with minimal light from nearby lighting fixtures.

9. Host a Party

Want to spend the night with your best friends? Why not throw a party internationally instead? It can be as simple as renting out karaoke rooms for the entire day, alcohol included, or bar hopping while immersing yourself in the culture at the same time. These are just activities that will bring you guys together in an entirely different place.

10. Spa Day

Last but not least, why not give yourselves some quality time by treating yourselves to a spa day? It doesn’t have to be expensive at all. At the end of this February vacation, you’ll feel refreshed and rejuvenated after all the activities you decided to do.

February is all about love, so make sure you spend it with people who are important to you. By sharing your time with them, you can create good memories that will last a lifetime.
