We all have bad habits, from skipping exercise or drinking too much coffee or not drinking enough water. While these are not good for you, there are other habits we have that could be unintentionally sabotaging our skin. Everyday beauty mistakes that you don’t even know are damaging your skin.

Here are 6 beauty mistakes that you might be doing that damage your skin:

 1.    Touching your face.

It seems harmless enough, right? Stop touching your face since it causes the spread of bacteria and oils causing congestion and breakouts. Maybe next time you’re in front of the computer avoid leaning your face in your hands or constantly rubbing your face.

2.    Shaving damages your skin

Your skin under your arms is really delicate and shaving as much as once a week under your arms can make it sore and irritated.  Choose you a good razor and get a moisturizing deodorant that will protect the delicate skin.

3.    Picking at chipped nails

Picking or peeling off nail polish – gel nail polish or otherwise – not only damages and weakens the natural nail bed but it rips up layers of your nail plate. Ouch.

 4.    Sleeping with your contacts

Repeatedly sleeping with your contacts in can lead to eye infection. Furthermore, if you continually sleep with your contacts on you may develop corneal neovascularization, and not be able to wear your contacts again and could lose your vision altogether.

5.    Not cleaning your mobile phone

Your phone is your number one germ carrier, and if you don’t constantly clean it you risk having those germs in your face. A recent study found that your phone and tablet are dirtier than toilet seats. All you have to do is use an antibacterial wipe from time to time to minimise transferring bacteria from your phone to yourself.

6.    Never washing your make-up brush

Want flawless skin then start washing your makeup brush because it is loaded with old product contain oil, dead skin, and bacteria.

Don’t worry you’re still in time to change these little beauty mistakes and trust me you’re not alone. But changing these habits will benefit your skin immensely
