7 Fat Loss Foods

All it takes to get the body you wish for is planning your meals; more precisely choose food that helps you stay lean. How can one successfully plan meals, because yes one will get busy, lazy and tired?

You can turn to these fat loss foods whenever you’re pressed for time, feeling lazy or just tired.

1.    Grilled Chicken

These slow-cooked chickens are available in any supermarket. They are a fast, ready to eat source of protein. If you are too tired to make dinner, grab one of these grilled chickens and paired with your favourite salad or vegetables.

2.    Plain Greek Yogurt

Plain Greek yogurt has twice the protein and half the carbs of traditional yogurt, making it a creamy snack you can enjoy anytime of the day.

3.    Pre-cut Vegetables

Everyone knows vegetables are good for you, but many people find it a bit of a hassle to peel and cut vegetables. However, we live in lucky era, there’s a growing trend in the supermarkets of having vegetables already cut up and ready to eat or just add them to your next meal.

4.    Smoked Salmon

Smoked Salmon is a great snack, it’s carb-free, full of protein, contains vitamin D and Selenium an antioxidant that works with vitamin E to protect healthy cells from harmful toxins.

Great choice for a delicious lunch, just add  a squeeze of lemon juice, capers and eat with your favourite salad.

5.    Cheese Sticks

A protein, calcium and vitamin D rich snack and it’s easy to pack with you. Have these in your fridge because when hunger hits you can grab these and eat it with a piece of fruit for a snack, or chop them up into a salad.

6.    Almonds

These are great because they’re easy to pack. When you are hungry and want something quick and tasty, almonds are ideal. The fiber, protein and fat content of almonds means it only takes a handful to keep you feeling full and satisfied so you won’t have the urge to overeat.

7.    Edamame

Edamame is a young soybean, usually still in the pod. They are delicious snack to have as you can eat them cold but need to boil them the night before. How do you prepare them; quit easily:

To cook edamame that is still in the pod,boil the pods in salted water, or, steam your edamame, then sprinkle with a bit of sea salt. You can eat edamame hot or cold.
