Air New Zealand New Safety Video

Air New Zealand is famous for their awesome safety videos. With the Most Epic Ever Made, which used the Hobbit’s Middle Earth theme in 2014, have done it again. This time teamed up with the All Blacks to create Men in Black themed safety video. As usual they nailed it.

Air New Zealand know how to get their passengers to listen to the safety instructions in creative and entertaining ways.

In their new video they feature All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and Dan Carter are Men in Black agents, starring alongside Steve Hansen, Kieran Read, Keven Mealamu, Sam Whitelock and Israel Dagg.

Wallabies great David Campese, former England captain Martin Johnson and former Argentinian captain Agustin Pichot make cameo appearances.

Non-rugby stars include Kiwi musician Stan Walker and American actor Rip Torn, who reprises his role as Chief of the Men in Black.

This video reiterates the futuristic world of the Men in Black movies and the whole set breaks to a dance routine with back up dancers as the rugby players take passengers through the safety routine. How about Israel’s singing talent? Not bad, if rugby doesn’t work out he can always become a back-up singer.

Air New Zealand head of global brand development Jodi Williams said the airline was “crazy about rugby”, making the All Blacks the perfect partner for its latest safety offering.

This is the best, entertaining way to get people to pay attention to the airline safety message. Watch the whole entertaining safety video below that you want to watch more than once.
