The Dawn of the ‘Ass Man’

It has been a long time since the ‘ass man’ has had the limelight, but with today’s total fascination for the female derrière, he is back. He owes of course a lot of thanks to a few public female figures: Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez (the instigator of the trend) and Beyonce.

These significant women have had a spiral effect on the rest of the human female race and extraordinary numbers of women everywhere are squatting their way to more shapely backsides.

This fixation with the female butt is nothing new, science explains. It’s primal, says David Buss, Ph.D., a psychology professor at the University of Texas at Austin.

Men are attracted to women’s tush for the same reason other men are attracted to women’s breasts, and small waists: reason being; these traits would have been indicators of fertility to your ancestors, Buss says.

Therefore, a woman’s rounded, firm and perky tush, signals to men’s primitive brain that she’s probably young and carrying enough fat to become pregnant and carry their babies. There’s obviously the other factor, sex. Let’s just say that a nice firm, round and perky bum is great for sex.

Interestingly, studies also found that geography and culture can sway just how into booty you are. In Argentina 59% of men dig butt more than boobs, a University of Buenos Aires study found. The English men don’t pay all that much attention to the booty, according to University College of London research.

However, despite the research the bottoms are rising to the top about everywhere in the world mainly thanks to the pop culture. Ava Cadell, a doctor of human sexuality and author of NeuroLoveology says this: ‘Pop culture is celebrating the butt and more these days’ and continues ‘With the mainstream appeal of celebrities with big butts like Jeniffer Lopez and Kim Kardashian, women want to emulate the way they look and flaunt their own booty to get attention.’

Cadell also adds that thanks to this trend, doggystyle and spanking are more popular than ever and anal sex is going mainstream.

Lucky change for the ‘ass man’ only thing to add probably is enjoy the trend as you never know how long it is here for until something else comes along and replaces it.
