The Fantastic Four Movie Reboot.

20th Century Fox is in the process of rebooting the Fantastic Four movie franchise with a whole new direction and cast, and the finishing product promises to be one of the biggest movies of 2015.

Who are all the players involved then?

Director Josh Trank was put in charge of this project and now it’s ready to head into production.

Miles Teller, is to play the character Reed Richards. Teller has gotten rave reviews from critics in movies like The Spectacular Now and the upcoming Whiplash, so it will be exciting to see that he does with Reed Richards character.

Kate Mara has some experience on comic book movies when she played a small role as a U.S. Marsha in Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2. She’s to play Invisible woman.

Ben Grimm, The Rock, will be played by Jamie Bell who has big shoes to fill, yet this British actor not unfamiliar with strapping on a performance capture suit to star in Steven Spielberg’s the Adventure of Tintin.

Toby Kebbell has been hired to be the next actor to bring the villainous character Dr. Doom back to life.

All of the Fantastic Four movie cast so far has been seen as controversial, but none more than Josh Trank’s choice to play Johnny Storm (The Human Torch). In the comics, the character has been a Caucasian, but playing him in the new big screen movie will be Chronicles’s Michael B. Jordan. Given Jordan track record, he will do his character justice.

Guessing that some of you will have pretty strong feelings about this casting news. We all have to wait and see what this new cast is capable in 2015

The Fantastic Four is pencilled for June 19th, 2015. In addition, 20th Century Fox has already announced that The Fantastic Four 2 is going to be ready for theatres on July 14th, 2017.
