New Viral Challenge- Mannequin Challenge.
A new Viral Challenge – Mannequin Challenge has taken over the web. What is the Mannequin Challenge?
It features people imitating mannequins and freezing for the camera while music plays in the background, with the majority opting to play Rae Sremmurd’s song Black Beatles.
This is one challenge that most of us will enjoy and have a go. Many people are sharing videos using the hashtag #MannequinChallenge.
Where did this challenge start? Teenagers in the United States began performing the Mannequin challenge in high school and ever since it has taken the web by storm, with even famous names giving it a go. With the likes of Beyonce, Kevin Hart and Taylor Kinney and the whole crew on set of Chicago Fire taking the challenge.
Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were together to celebrate Kelly’s son birthday and decided to create a frozen snapshot in a dramatic pose too while music plays in the background. Personally, I think they aced it.

While the majority have had hip-hop group Rae Sremmurd’s song Black Beatles playing in the background, the trio had Lauryn Hill playing instead. Some other famous names to take the challenge are comedian Kevin Hart, sports stars and newscasters have all had a go.
Probably, the most daring and challenging so far is Taylor Kinney’s on the set of Chicago Fire, and the whole crew took on the mannequinn challenge in really difficult poses.
