Restless Leg Syndrome

A neurological disorder, restless leg syndrome is characterized by the persistent and overwhelming need to move the legs. Sometimes it can be accompanied by an uncomfortable sensation in the leg with ranging severity.

Jon Stewart suffered from both insomnia and the restless leg syndrome. We also have others, like Keith Olbermann, who suffer from this particular neurological disorder.

Narcolepsy

If that is the case, then you could be suffering from what is referred to as narcolepsy. This is a neurological disorder whereby the brain is unable to regulate your sleep cycle.

People who suffer from this condition find themselves overwhelmed with sleepiness during the daytime. Sudden urges of sleep come about at any time, and hence, sufferers of this condition can even find themselves sleeping while driving or in meetings.
