ROBERT PATTINSON REPORTEDLY TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Since COVID-19 the entertainment industry has focused on how to return to work safely. With safety protocols in place; they have returned to work with almost no outbreaks being reported and certainly no production being ceased. Then, The Batman got COVID-19. The Batman has ceased production as Robert Pattinson reportedly tests positive for COVID-19, just days after they resumed work at studios outside of London.
Without naming Pattinson, Warner Bros shared this statement: “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19 and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”
However, Vanity Fair confirmed that the 34-year-old actor was the individual who contracted COVID-19. Robert Pattison joins The Rock and The Beckhams as the latest celebrity to test positive for COVID- 19.
Anyone who came within six feet of Pattinson for more than 15 minutes; would need to be immediately isolated for 14 days. Regardless of whether or not they test positive.
In the new flick, directed by Planet of the Apes filmmaker Matt Reeves, Batman is trying to solve a series of horrible serial killings. Meanwhile, he crosses path with Paul Dano’s The Riddler, Zoë Kravitz’s Selina Kyle- Catwoman and Oswald Cobblepot nicknamed The Penguin, played by Colin Farrel.
Although we are bummed out that the production has ceased; we hope that Pattison and others who might test positive will recover quickly.
