Stunning Photos From The World’s Craziest Festival – The Burning Man

You must have heard of The Burning Man, the world’s craziest festival in Nevada.  The nine-day festival gathered more than 70,000 people with wild costumes, art installations, musical performances and lots of partying. Held at a temporary metropolis called Black Rock City in the remote Black Rock Desert. Also known as “The Playa” in Nevada.

During the nine days, there’s no money, you bring your own place to sleep (a tent), food to eat (often ramen noodles) and the craziest clothing possible for the week. There is no Internet or cell reception.

What’s the fuss all about?  If you haven’t been, you just don’t get, “Musk said of the event”, according to The New York Times.

Burning Man is organised by a non-profitable organisation called the Burning Man Project.

Each year the festival is given a theme. In 2019, the theme is Metamorphoses, as “a celebration of change and an exploration of uniqueness”, according to Burning Man Project. The Burners put their creativity on display with their costumes.

Every year social media is flooded with stunning photos from the world’s craziest festival – The Burning Man.

These pictures speak for themselves,  although to truly understand The Burning Man you probably just have to go.
