Things you need to do to banish the break-up blues.

Those of you who are back in the market after a recent split here are the things you need to do to banish the break-up blues. Breakups are never easy but there are things you can do to decrease the impact, start the healing and move on to the next chapter of your life. The seven suggestions below will help you banish the break-up blues:

1.    Exercise

Nothing will keep you in better spirits than good fitness and health. Plus those endorphins will keep you happy too. If you need motivation go shopping for some new workout gear.

2.    Amp up your wardrobe

Get a new sexy dress for a night out with friends and send out the message you are ready to move on. Splash out and why not accessorise with new shoes and handbags. Shopping or retail therapy is exactly what you deserve after the heartache and pain.

3.    Heels

Can’t have enough of those, they get attention; make you look taller, slimmer and feel more confident. Exactly what you need at this moment.

4.    Pencil in events

Accept every invitation to go out even those you aren’t really interested in much but better busy and meeting people than staying home overindulging in comfort food.

5.    Lingerie

Seems like a counterproductive exercise, but you need to feel sexy inside out plus now more than ever you need to be prepared since you never know when some sexy, fun night might come about. Go indulge in new pretty, sexy, and silky things.

6.    Hair do

Colour your hair or cut and style your hair the way you’ve always wanted it. Now you have the freedom to choose what you like and a new hairdo will make you feel like a new person.

7.    Plan a spa day

Spending a day at the spa can be a great way to get away from it all and put you on the right path to a fresh start. Get a cleansing facial, detoxifying body treatment or a massage and leave feeling refreshed and invigorated. If a full day isn’t in your price range, opt for a half day instead.
