Folding as we know it might be a thing of the past. FoldiMate, the machine in the video below will actually be able to fold your clothes for you. It will fold and steam your clothes and if you wish you can also spray your clothes with perfume or fabric softener while they’re being folded.

This technology has been around for a while but not compact enough to be fit for household use without it being too costly. It’s estimated that this new household gadget will be on the market in 2018 for $700 to $850, not bad.

We haven’t been washing our clothes by hand for decades, it seems logical that the next step should be a robotic folding steam machine.
