‘Wonder Woman 1984’ First Official Trailer Just Dropped

Yes, peeps, the first official trailer to Warner Bros. Pictures seems to point to another amazing movie for Wonder Woman. It looks like the wait was worth it. Gal Gadot is back in action big time and lassoing actual lightning bolts.

Diana Prince is a single woman in 1984, who reminisces of her true love. In the trailer, we see Diana talking to Dr Barbara Ann Minerva, a.k.a. the villainess Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig.  Then Chris Pine is back as Diana’s love interest Steve Trevor—nearly 70 years after his character appeared to die in Wonder Woman.

What exactly happened to Steve Trevor and where has he been for the last 70 years?

Almost at the end of the trailer, we hear Wonder Woman say, “Nothing good is born from lies,” it seems once again she is battling to ensure truth and righteousness win, in the end.

The spirit of the ’80s is prevalent in the trailer, from the soundtrack and Steve’s fanny pack.  Wonder Woman this time round faces two foes – The Cheetah and Max Lord.

Wonder Woman 1984 stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.

It looks like Wonder Woman 1984 might be another kickass movie and is sure to wipe the floor with the box office competition.
